Are You a First-time Homebuyer?

The homebuying process might seem scary or intimidating at first, but our team is available day and night to advise you and walk you through the entire process and let you know what you need to do. You can call us up and do it over the phone or opt for an in-person consultation.

It can take as little as 10 minutes for a comprehensive summary of the process. A full consultation that covers all the details, including the 4 things that make a mortgage, Credit, Income, Assets, and Collateral, can take up to 2 hours. At the end of this consultation, you will have a clear picture of what your options are and what you need to do to make the most of them.

Collection of Documents, Prequalification, & Preapproval

The next step after a thorough consultation is to fill out the application form, gather the required documents, and submit them to a potential lender for prequalification and preapproval. We’ll be right there with you to make sure that your application has the best possible chance of making it through. We’ll also keep tabs on the market to give you the best lender options and help lock in the best rates for you. If your application is rejected, we will give you advice and actionable guidance to improve your odds of success on your next attempt.

Shop & Find a Home

Once you’ve gotten a preapproved mortgage, you’re free to shop around for a home within your budget. With your preapproved mortgage in hand, sellers will see you as a serious buyer and be more willing to negotiate.

Finishing Steps

The last few steps will be different for buyers, depending on their needs and circumstances. In general, there will be an appraisal of the property you’ve chosen to determine whether its contract price is appropriate given the home's condition. Some buyers, such as those who avail of a Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loan, may also be required to get mortgage insurance. We’ll guide you through each step, and ensure that everything is in order when you close and sign your mortgage.
